  1. MY SISTER IN LAW WAS HAVING TOO I GOT HER BOY TO GO BY GIVE HIM A TREAT EVEY TIME HE WENT ANYTHING HEALTHY AND NOT TOO BIG IS GOOD..

HOWEVER BOYS ARE A LOT HARDER TO TRAIN THAN GIRLS SO BE PATIENT..

SETTING HIM ON THE TOILET EVEY 20 MINS OR SO HELPS TOO. IF YOU HAVE A POTTY CHAIR SET IT IN FRONT OF THE TV FOR A FEW MINUTES AT A TIME..

    CONSISTENCY IS KEY...

SOME SAY WITH BOYS YOU CAN MAKE A GAME OUT OF IT AND HAVE THEM USE THE PEE TO SINK CHEERIOS

O AND DONT LET HIM WARE A DIAPER.. THEY DONT LIKE IT WHEN THEY ARE WET AND DIAPERS AND PULL-UPS KEEP THEM DRY!

  2. What my mom did for my sister was she gave her an m&m everytime she used the bathroom. This may or may not work for your kid, but it did wonders for my sister. Or maybe you could reward him some other way.

  3. whenever  he doesnt use the potty stick his nose in it and say bad and then make him sit on the potty

  4. have him sit on the toilet while you read him a nice potty book,.then flush the toilet after,. repeat process daily,.gradually shortening the length of time and assistance,. in months your son will be running to the toilet all by himself,.,

there are good potty books to guide him through this,...,

                good  luck,..., thanks,..,,,

  5. Have another kid show him by doing it first.  They love to do what other kids do.

  6. Show him that wearing underwear and using a potty are things big boys do and let him want to become a big boy.  Offer him a reward for using the potty.  Only let him wear diapers when he is sleeping and only until he can go a full night's sleep or nap without going to the bathroom.

  7. In the batheroom, Put a basket full of wrapped presents. Every time he uses the potty, then he can open a present

Good Luck with him......... Tell him i say hi! lol

  8. He may not be ready for it.  Boys take longer to potty train than girls do.  Different things work for different people.  Try leaving him in wet pants for a while.  Take him the bathroom everytime you go.  We use a sticker chart in our school.  Everytime a child sits on the potty, we make a big deal about it. If they actually go, they are allowed to place a sticker on the chart as a sense that they did something.

  9. When my grandson was 2 he potty trained by watching his older cousin who was 5 go to the bathroom & he coppied what he saw him do.If you dont have a kid to borrow use alot of encouragement & praise. The reward system can also help out. give a cookie or special treat .

  10. buy him goodnights they have cool prints like race cars and atv's there great for potty-training and then put underwear over them once he gets used to using the potty thats how they did it to me. kids seem to love the big boy feeling and give rewards for using the potty like a toy car or a ball something cheap but cool to a kid

  11. if he is not interested then he is NOT ready and there is nothing you can do to change that

  12. Take him as soon as he wakes up and try to get him interested in something like a book or a toy and have him sit on the potty for a while. Most kids will go in the first 10 mins of waking up. One technique that works great during the day if you have the time is to baby gate them in the kitchen all day and put the potty in the middle of the kitchen. Everytime they start to go get em on the potty. My cousin had her son potty trained in one day with that method. If you or your husband hates the idea of him sitting then a great tip to get them go while standing is to put cheerios in the toilet and have them aim. They think it's the coolest thing lol. Hope some of this helps!

  13. If he is not interested, he is not ready.  He will show interest when he is ready.  Periodically take him into the rest room and show him what to do.  When he begins to show interest, then...it's time.

Putting to much pressure on a child this young will only cause them to do the opposite of what you want them to do.

Remember, different children learn at different stages....it doesn't mean anything is wrong with your child.

  14. well i have a pretty good answer if his father is in his life. when my fiance was potty training his son, he would have his son go to the bathroom with him and watch him go. no its not anything pornographic, but you know how boys like to be like their daddies. well, it worked because his son wants to be just like him. unfortunately, if you are like i was when i was potty training my son, his father was not around and i had the hardest time potty training him. he was 3 before he was completely potty trained! i hope you're not that situation. i also have 2 girls and they were so easy. they pretty much trained themselves. anyway i hope i was some help. good luck.

  15. try to buy a new baby potty and go into the bathroom let him see how you use it or mabe let daddy do it.He'll get the idea and do it too!

  16. A little reward chart, and a small reward like M&Ms or Skittles for good results.

  17. When my kids were two I would have them run around with no diaper on when you see that they look like they may then run them to the potty.  Have him watch daddy maybe and y'all make a big deal about how daddy goes pee in the potty and for him to also.  Just keep encouraging him and he will sooner or later oh I also know "big boy" underwear helped w/ my kids...but don't get the Gerber ones that have a lining its too much like a diaper and they just wet them.

  18. wow. i am an expert. although i am only 14, i know EXACTLY how to do it. if you are a stay-at-home mom, then i recommend this. start off by getting them to tell you when they need to use the restroom. this will give you a heads up that you need to spped there. put on regular underware instead of diapers. put them in diapers until they are FULLY use to the restroom. if they can talk, tell them to let you know ahead of time so they don't wet their pants. i don't know about your child but my neice(when she was visiting) she absolutly hated wetting her pants. she got disgusted and would cry. so this got her use to the restroom and had my sister aware that she needed to use the restroom. if your 2 year old doesn't mind,it will be a little more work. but remember, make a word that they can make or say when they need to use the restroom so you can be alert. my sister toliet trained my neice when she was about 5 months. she couldn't talk so she made the sound "EEE EH" and it worked very well. i hope i helped you!

  19. give him a treat when he go to the bathroom  or let him play with a toy while he's in the bathroom or a video game to play
