I'm kinda slim with a fast metabolism, so Im worried bout losing weight during this too, what can I do to make sure I dont lose any weight during this process? thanks yall that answer

  1. The Russians go out and get drunk. Stop worrying, there are bound to be some recruits who are in even worse shape than you.

  2. Here's a link to the Army's physical fitness requirements to pass basic with links to other pages on how to train for the different exercises.

  3. Just run and run and wait did I say run...

  4. Learn how to do sit-ups and push-ups according to Army standards.  Then practice.  Run short distances and work your way up.

You will have to pass push-ups, sit-ups and 2 mile run to pass BCT, but don't worry, you will have at least 8 weeks to work up to standards.  As for the weight issue, if you are underweight, eat proteins and carbs.  But be careful that you don't go overweight.

  5. Start running 2 miles a day every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Do that for two weeks and then skip the third week. You skip it because you're at risk of stress fractures during the 3rd week.

At the same time, do 60 situps, 60 pushup and 9 pullups on those same days. Do not skip the third week on these.

For the fourth and fifth week go 3 miles a day, M, W, F.

    Do 80 situps, 80 pushups and 12 pullups, M, W, F

If you need more than that. Just send me a message.
