What's the best way to preserve a dragonfly?

Found a small plastic container (snap on lid) that has a beautiful dragonfly in it. The blue and green stripes on its body are still vivid, and there isn't any wing damage at all.

So, do I need to spray it with something and display it? or should I find a glass container for it so I can display it and show it off in all it's glory?

first you'll have to catch it..

and killed it by squeezing it's abdomen..

usually you can display right after tat... but be careful with its' head.. they are very fragile... :)

or you can catch it.. hold it gently and carefully... inject formalin into the abdomen.. becareful to NOT inject it to your own finger as it's extremely dangerous~
