  1. We are being inundated with green beans this year so we place them in one-gallon freezer bags.  We like stews and place a handful of beans in our stews.  I'm too lazy to can.


  2. i believe canning would be best because if the power was to fail frozen would not last long i also think drying would be good also.

  3. canning last longer you can keep a can for years the freezing i wouldn't use after 6 to 8 mths

  4. I personally like canning the best.  It softens up the beans, however, so if you're looking to keep that crispy taste that you get from cooking beans the day after, this is not the way to go.  

  5. I'd blanch them, put them in a vacuum sealer and freeze them.  follow the vacuum sealer's directions. They're not all the same.  It'll preserve crispness

  6. If you got the time and equipment, I think canning is better. Home canned beans are very tasty. Freezing is fine too.
