  1. Don't buy/ask cigarettes.

  2. I quit by setting a date, not just "tomorrow" or "next week". I didn't want to wait until the new year, so I chose the next best thing, the New Financial Year. I decided about 5 weeks before 1 July that that would be my date. During those 5 weeks I slowly cut down on my cigarettes until eventually I was only having 1 or none per day.

Finally, by the time 1 July came around, I had to quit entirely

I've now gone 29 days without a cigarette and feel great, I don't want one at all, in fact the smell disgusts me.

I really think the key is wanting to quit. If you really want to, and you know your reasons, then you'll succeed. If you don't want to quit then you'll need to change that before you try.

I'm so glad that I quit and I know it has only been a month but I already feel better, I can breath better, smell things better and my skin has cleared up heaps, my eyes look healthier, I'm saving money on smokes & gum & mints.

    Good luck!

  3. nicotine inhalers work the best. they help with your body's need for nicotine, but the fact that they are shaped like a cigarette will also help with your psychological dependence. good luck

  4. I know that this may seem like an off beat answer, but if you have tried many things with no results, then I would recommend a Quit Smoking Spell.  I have seen this work on almost everyone who has it done when using white magic (which is 100% safe).
