  1. the most likely investors would be the Small Business Adminstration, a bank, prominent members of your community, small venture capital and private equity firms that specialize in microcap investments, or potentially a large customer that is interested in making sure the product comes to market.

the best way to get financing is to make sure you have a written business plan (you may want to hire a consultant to do this; i'm actually available and will charge less than say Big 4, but i'll put out just as solid of a product).   You also want to have at least Reviewed financial statemetns, although Audited is best.  It's also a good idea to have powerpoint, or other types, of presentations to make to prospective investors that summarize future prospects of the firm, and also the structuring of teh financing involved.  this is key actually.

you can also use credit cards.   feel free to email me w/more questions or if you want to hire me (i'm a financial consultant on medical leave right now, and this is my area of expertise)
