I have to study about the Evolution of Man, the Development of Writing & City Life and the comparision between the Roman and Iranian Empire. Any advice, ideas or study techniques would be helpful. Thankyou! :)

  1. Yes, turn your cell phone off, and STUDY !!!

  2. When I did my exam this summer I wrote loads of notes down about each subject and drew pictures to help me remember them visually in the exam - it really does work when you have something visual to remember things by! i also used different colours for different things. A few days before I also wrote between 5 and 10 facts/figures on each subject on post-it-notes and put them in different places in my bedroom or around the house. just make sure you put the notes for the same subjects in the same places or it gets confusing :s. The evening before my exams I read through all of my notes, made sure I knew lots of facts and figures to write about and made sure I knew exactly what to write about in the exam.

I didn't study the same as you (I did World War 1 & 2, the Cold War and Germany and America 1919-1935) so I can't give you any advice on these subjects but I hope these techniques helped! Good luck!
