What's the best way to subtlety find out whether a woman has had children?

im in email contact with a girl i havent met for years..i cant ask her directly whether she has had children, but i would like to know.

whats the best way asking her and finding via email

Tell her a bit more about what you have been doing, add if you have or have not any children and ask her to update you on her life since you last met.

how about just asking her, it is a perfectly innocent and normal question to ask, I can't see your problem, if she hasn't said maybe she hasn't, you could tell her that you like children and does she have any, or say that you hate kids and hope that she says she has none!

Just say= Well how many kids we gonna have= tell her you wanna have a lot of kids no matter who you marry==odds on you will find out jack rabbit quick=buddy type cool on this one hypothetically speaking of course== after all it's only "you've got mail"

I would simply ask what happened to her since we last saw each other - get married, have kids, go to school?  But this seems like such a simple thing to ask, so I wonder why you are having such a hard time with it?  Perhaps you need to improve your social skills!

ask her via email if she's "thinking of having kids in the future". you'll be able to tell if she already has one from her reply.

just bring it up in general conversation with her and it shouldnt matter if she has kidsor not.you take her on you take the kids on too

Huh.  In my experience, it is a rare parent that requires subtlety on the subject of their kids.

However, there are several ways to get this info.  You could mention in passing about your kids (or a trip you took and had to worry about the kids, or didn't have to worry about kids cuz you don't have any so were able to take the trip is one way to try to pry out the info indirectly).  

Anything to do with travel, sports, schools, neighborhood, size of house, cooking, cleaning and maintenance, and so forth are peripheral to the subject of kids, and you can figure out from this the situation.  Kids impact on so many aspects of life that the life of the parent gets controlled by the kids for so long that it is really easy to tell a parent from a not parent.  Even after the kids have left the home.

You must not have any kids lol.
