What's the best way to tell a guy to leave me alone?

There is a guy I'm friends with on Myspace who is always sending me messages and it's bugging me. At first, it was fine but now it's all the time as if he has no one else to talk to. I want to tell him to leave me alone but I think even if I tell him to leave me alone in a nice way or not, he'll still be upset.Should I just tell him?What can I do?

Maybe he doesn't have anyone else to talk to.  While this is sad, it's really not your problem.

You need to decide if you're really friends, or are you putting up with him cuz you feel sorry for him?  

You don't have to be mean to him to get him off you.  Maybe you could not answer him all the time, or tell him like not now, you'll get back to him later.  Even if you are friends, no one is entitled to every minute of your time.

Yes, you need to tell him that you are not comfortable with his bugging you so much.  You do not want to encourage this kind of behavior in any way as that is how stalkers get attached to those who do not want their attention. They read into any little kind of attention.   If this becomes a serious and continuing problem you need to  let someone know about his behavior and block him from your myspace.  Be absolutely honest and firm and stick to your decision.

you can block him, tell him "leave me the h**l alone", or you can makeup an excuse like talk to you later because i am busy with blah blah (you get it just make up something) or you can say i don't feel like talking right now can you email some other time or say that your talking with somebody else.

Tell him in a nice way that your busy right now and can not talk right now. (yes lie your butt off) Or if he is trying to date you then tell him your dating someone right now. If not then just be like hey its nice that you love sending me messages and stuff. But I wish you wouldn't because I don't have the time to reply to them. Or just be like **** off but thats the mean way of things. If he doesn't listen or understand the best thing to do is delete the person.

Put an 'away message' so he won't be able to send you messages.Say 'I DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ MESSAGES'.You should tell him to talk to other people and other friends.Maybe none of his friends are online so he talks to you.

Ignore his messages so he'll stop messaging you.

This happened to me

& its all that stopped him.

And cut all other contact.
