Thanks. I was hoping to find out what's the best way after I take a ferry across to the mainland again. As in which city to take the ferry into and if the train runs to a city close to marbella in order to take a car or bus from there. I'm staying in Ibiza for a week, then going to the southern castline, and then back to Ibiza again. Just looking to see what other people would do in that situation. Thanks for all of your help!!!

  1. Hi there!

from Ibiza you can take the ferry from San Antonio to Denia or Valencia and from there then go on by train or rent a car and drive down to Marbella. Also check once you get off the boat if there is a bus service.

...and do the same thing on your way back to la isla bonita.

    cheers

  2. Marbella is on the south coast of Spain. Ibiza is one of the Baeleric Islands. There is NO ground transportation. My guess is you would have to drive to Tarifa and catch a ferry there. Let me re arrange that. Take a ferrt to Tarifa, and drive due East.ITs not that far away. Other Spanish cities you could try besides Tarifa and Marbella are Torremolinos, Malaga and Benalmadena.
