What's the best way to wash a baseball cap?

well its really a visor but pretty much the same thing.

I've heard of putting them in the dishwasher don't know if that will mess up the bill or not

I have ruined a bunch even with the ball cap holders in the washer.  I won't ever do that again.  Hand wash it only and reshape it while it dries.

There used to be a plastic gadget you put the ball cap in , then on the top rack of the dishwasher.  If you can find  one of those, do it that way, otherwise, spot clean it with a tiny bit of soap and cold water,

and a soft bristle brush.  Scotch Guard is your friend when it is clean!

I would say hand wash it. Take a bristle brush and laundry detergent and scrub the hat lightly. If you scrub it to much it will cause it to fray. Then let it air dry.
