What's the best way to weld something for a biginner?

Need to weld a blade to a pipe fitting.

well you can try j&b weld (two tube of stuff you mix together and forms a weld you can find it at any hardware store) and if you want to weld it you need to say if you want to weld stainless steel or aluminum if steel the easiest way is to mig weld them just hold the trigger down and make small circles if aluminum you have to tig weld and that is a pain in the *** and i would advise you have somebody else do it for you

It's not easy to weld and it can be very dangerous. Get some real hands-on help. You have to work with explosive gas, wear very dark safety goggles, and choose the correct welding rods and set things up so you don't burn yourself, ruin your work, or catch something on fire. I encourage you to weld, but not without reading a beginners book, following all of the safety rules, and practising on some metal. You can't breath that gas either.

Mig welding is the easiest in my opinion, But, If you don't plan on doing it on a regular basis it would be better to take it to a shop. I can tig , mig, and stick weld. I have had some funny stuff come to me by way of friends, so if you think your idea is strange...don't worry about it. Seek out a welding/metal, muffler repair, or lawnmower shop. all will have a welder. If you decide to take it on yourself, your cheapest bet is to flux core weld. its a basic "MIG" setup. Mig welding is when you use a welder that feeds the wire (used as the rod in arc welding) and an inert gas to your work piece. Fluxcore wire omits the gas part because the wire, when arced, releases the gas needed to disperse oxygen away from the contact point on the metal. If you didn't have it, instead of a weld you would get something that looks like lava rock...BIG PORES in the metal...yuck! Wow that was a lot to take in. It takes a lot of practice to get it right without training. Harbor frieght tools carries a CHEAP mig for about $150.00. You can see its easier to just take it someplace. Hopes this helps.
