what you do is go in the middle, then top right then middle right.

take first turn, then take one corner,for your next move take the opposite corner (they'll be forced to play middle if they haven't yet) then take a third corner, and you'll have two lines set up.

then it doesn't matter where o plays b/c you have the two line set up.  This only works when the other doesn't know your trick, and isn't really thinking. No one should ever win at tick tac toe, it should always end in stalemate unless the other person makes a mistake. try playing sos.

Tic Tac Toe has so few possible moves that it doesn't take long to remember them.  When two players know the same few moves available, nobody ever wins.  You should try something a little harder, for adults with a few brain cells.  Try playing chess if you want to work your brain a bit and leave Tic Tac Toe to the five year old kids.

If you go first, take the middle. Then if your opponent takes an orthogonal square, you can force a win by playing opposite on the diagonal. If they take a diagonal square, the best you can do is a tie.

Conversely, if you have to go second, you can force a tie by taking a diagonal square rather than orthogonal. You can't win going second if your opponent takes the center (and if they don't you should).

Never play in the middle, or at least the first move. Always get a corner first. Your next move should depend on what the other player does next. If I were you, I would get the opposite corner next. Then play a middle spot.

go in the middle first. then go in the upper right corner, then with your next turn, put your mark so that you have 2 ways to win. It's hard to explain, but there is a way to do it so you have a WIN no matter where the other person goes. Good luck!
