  1. Check here: http://www.atvo.it/orari/pdf_airport/Rya... and http://www.atvo.it/orari/pdf_airport/Tra...

  2. Transportation in Italy is very well organized, so you can go either way. Buses are sincronized with arriving flights and there's a train at least every half hour (or less). Either way you go from Treviso Centrale  to  Venezia Mestre (19 miles) and both are the cheapest way.

The train takes about 22min to get to Mestre station and then you take another train to Venezia Santa Lucia for 11min. On bus you make 2 stops at Mestre so you'll spend a total of 1 hour 10 min to get to Venice Santa Lucia (inside the Lagoon).

Since Mestre is the last stop in the mainland, to get to Santa Lucia Station Both transportations travel on a straight road surrounded by water until you arrive to the city of Venice.

Venice is kind of a circle divided in two by the "S" shape GREAT CANAL just like the Ying-Yang simbol. On one end, at the begining of the "Canal Grande" is the Santa Lucia Station, on the other is Piazza San Marco. So from this station you take a Vaporetto to your Hotel (because of the luggage), also there's a main street pararel to the canal that runs on the east side of the canal, I recomend that you walk it from Piazza San Marco to the station late in the afternoon and return by Vaporetto when it starts to get dark, it's stunning.
