  4. These guys are mostly just promoting thier own hosts.

I am an artist too, look at my website: http://www.simplycharmin.com

    it was make by: http://www.samwilson3d.com

    it cost $375

on the samwilson3d site there is a list of very reasonable hosts with every tool you need for your website.

I think $375 is very reasonable btw

  5. I had an art site. It's still up. I can email you a link to it if you like.

My experience has been that people don't by art from websites. It's too hard to see it well enough to make an informed decision about how it really looks.

Most art sites will show your work but people want to see it in person, at different angles and lighting.

I would look for art fairs or shows and try to get your work added there. My mother is an artist. She also had some of her work placed in a local gallery and managed to sell some that way.

Art is a tough sale, I wish you the best of luck.

  7. Honestly, It is just not worth it to go with any one site without doing your research first on the vast field of web hosting.  You should consider going to http://www.hostgumbo.com  ... There you can view an up to date pricing and incentives comparison chart for the top 2008 web hosting companies, starting at $3.96 per month with free for life domain names.  Plus HostGumbo is always running promotions to help visitors pay for their hosting plan. Feel free to contact me at any time.  I would love to help you with getting your site completed. Take care and good luck either way!
