I compare all the prayer time table from all the website I know and the fajr prayer is different from each other. For example for Islam.com Fajr starts at 3:48am and for islamicfinder.org that I downloaded Fajr starts at 4:17am. Same with Isha they're different from each other. Which one is right? I really want to pray on the right time. Please help. Al Hamdu Lillah. Thank you.

  1. Go to

    www.inslamfinder.com

You will see how to find a Masjid in your are  and the salat time tables.

  2. it is normal to find slight differences. for example, in the islamic finder software you can have different times according of the way you choose to calculate the time. this is determined through the "calculation method" property.

i suggest that to try different calculation methods and compare them with the used time table in your country. in other words you will make a re-calibration, so you can use the same timming as your nearby mosque.

    takabal Allah salatak enshaa Allah

  3. i would be beter if you went to your local mosque and got a timetable from there

  4. The most common and popular one I know is http://www.islamicfinder.org

just like some others already have mentioned.

Edit: sorry, I missed reading properly.

Well they are according to different methods of calculations, and none of them are wrong.  The others are more or less sunnah way of calculating... but the ISNA is I believe scientific calculations.

From what I know, it is best to follow one of the sunnah methods,

or may b it also doesn't matter much to follow scientific for prayer times.. but it matters while sighting the moon.

Also keep note that if its possible to observe the sunrise and/or sunset, that is the best way because, you might be on 30th fl, or you might be on 2nd fl, you can't have the same sunset time exactly.. which is important while fasting as we should hasten to break fast.
