QB A: Great QB, great team...but more likely than not, they will have their playoff position locked up by week 12, so this qb will probably be sitting during FF playoff weeks.

QB B: 2nd tier QB, borderline team: not great stats from weeks 1-14 and not likely to break any records, but will very likely be a monster during weeks 15-17, during FF playoff weeks when their team is contending for a wildcard spot, or can play spoiler to a rival who is trying to get that spot.

  1. A, only because, great teams don't always have that playoff spot locked.  It's the NFL

  2. Well if I knew all that, I take QB B because I know I can draft a team that makes it to the playoffs and once I do, I'd rather have the one that will produce in the playoffs.

  3. QB A.  Why risk not getting to the playoffs, and besides, you probably have a good team other than your QB, right...?

  4. or QB C: not a very good qb during the regular season nor the postseason but has the best supporting cast in the league

  5. QB A: for example, tom brady, they're probably going to go for the 16-0 record again so i guess tom brady is going to play every game with a great supporting cast like moss, welker, and others. so go for a great quarterback like brady

  6. I would still take QB (A) because teams very rarely sit there starters in that final week. If you look at the schedules and how they relate to the fantasy football Super Bowl, the championship game almost always takes place in week 16. As you saw last year NE didn't sit their starters in week 16 but teams may rest starters in week 17 which is a non-factor week as it relates to FF

And secondly if you draft a QB from team B,and you said it yourself not great stats from week-to-week theres a good chance you won't even make the playoffs. Don't settle for mediocrity, just have a game-plan and draft a decent 2nd tier QB as your backup and then you can reap the rewards of both QB' s in your scenario. Start QB A from week 1-14 or 15 and then make your S.Bowl decision based on what you are hearing or seeing as it relates to each teams schedule

  7. you're thinking too much imo...you draft with the idea of who will give you the most consistent performance over the course of the season, and if he won't play come playoff time you worry about it then...you can't complicate your board by worrying about whether the guy's team will make the playoffs or not...so i would take qb a any day

and btw, tampa bay's qb is jeff garcia
