What's the big deal with Katara and Zuko?

What makes people think they like each other? What happened that I missed? How did "Zukara" come about?

Well, Zuko and Katara had an almost-could-have-been-intimate moment at the end of season 2, and people just kind of let their imaginations run away with them. I don't know why this has lasted, though, because throughout season 3 Katara went from hating Zuko to being his friend ... but never coming close to being his significant other.

The end of the series shows that Katara feels the same way about Aang that he does about her, so there's obviously no room for Zuko there. And besides, Zuko and Mei are cute together.

So, in short, you didn't really miss anything. "Zukara" should have been a short-lived thing, and I really can't tell you why people are holding on to it.

It probably came about since the episode "Book 3:Crossroads of Destiny".People should support Aang and Katara.Zutara is starting to bug me.
