  1. Nope. The "Oh God" shot was just sort of an introduction to what was being accomplished by tow in surfers.

    The honor goes to Ken Bradshaw.

    "On January 28, 1998, Ken rode the biggest wave ever surfed -- a colossal 85-footer -- on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, at an outer reef known as Outside Log Cabins."


  2. Peahi is right.  Laird Hamilton's tow-in wave at Log Cabins is considered the "heaviest" wave ever surfed.  Meaning it had the most hydraulic power and volume of water to it.
