What's the chance Josh Howard gets traded for Josh Smith or Andre Iguodala respectively?

either player might help the mavs, but i really see them trading Howard for someone along the lines of grant hill. a worn out, still decent player much like what they did last year

Howard certainly wouldn't go for Smith straight up. Dallas would have to add another player, or a couple draft picks or Cuban's cash, or something. That would be a pretty lopsided deal if they went straight up. With that said, and considering Dallas isn't very flexible in the trade market anymore, I think there's a better chance of Howard for Iggy. Not a very high chance, I'd give it about thirty percent, but a better chance than the former.

Neither the Sixers nor the Hawks would accept the offer. Andrei Iguodala is the franchise player of the Philadelphia 76ers. Josh Smith is kinda like the franchise player of the Hawks if not for Joe Johnson. The teams wouldn't make this kind of trade happen because they all are valuable to their team one way or another. If this happens though, Mavs will surely improve with Smith and Iguodala than with what they currently have in Howard.

The Mavericks would be INSANE to trade Josh Howard for Josh Smith or the other AI.  Josh Howard has a terrific all-around game. He reminds me a lot Scottie Pippen in his prime - Good shooter, excellent on-ball defender, can rebound, pass, and block a shot here and there.  Andre Iguodala is an explosive player going to the rim, but he has no perimeter game. The same goes for Josh Smith, although his long arms and shot blocking skills are a wanted commodity around the league.  The Mavs need to stand pat.
