I don't mean Medicare or Medicaid etc...I mean something for lower middle class people close to 40 that they can afford without putting them into the lower class income. Thanks.

  1. Do you mean "cheap Insurance" or good insurance at a low price?

Remember one thing; you get what you pay for.

There are many kinds of health insurance policies, with many different coverages; Major Medical, Defined Benefit, Hospital Indemnity. The best is Major Medical, but also is usually more expensive.

Defined Benefit usually pays so much per day on the hospital room and board, a specified amount on surgical procedures, with a maximum claim payment amount for each different claim. The different amounts of coverage are up to you to decide. The lower the benefits the lesser the premium payment.

The Hospital Indemnity policy usually just pays so much per day on the room and board, with maybe a specified amount

    surgical benefit.

You might want to log onto www.goldenrule.com.

    Good luck.

  2. If you are looking for a higher deductable for a HSA look into Golden Rule Health Insurance.

  3. hmm you can try it http://healthinsurance007.blogspot.com/

to check weather  it offers best deal or not

  4. A lot will depend upon what state you live in but some of the top health insurance companies that offer cheap plans (and are still reputable companies with comprehensive major medical plans) include:

    1. Blue Cross Blue Shield

    2. Golden Rule (United Healthcare)

    3. Aetna

    4. Humana

    5. UniCare

Be sure and compare quotes from at least 3 different companies a minimum of every 6 months to make sure that you have the best value.

Here is some more information on how to choose a health insurance company and then also how to find a cheap health insurance plan:

  5. The one with the least coverage.

It's not about the COMPANY, it's about the PLAN.  The better the coverage, the lower the deductibles, the more expensive it is.

If you're 40 and healthy, a good, low/no deductible plan is going to cost you $400 a month, not including maternity.  If you have stuff wrong with you, they either won't take you at all, or they'll exclude coverage for the stuff wrong with you.

You can cut the premium in half by taking a $5,000 deductible.

There's no car dealer you can go to, to buy a brand new Cadillac for $25.  And if someone on the internet offers to sell you comprehensive, no deductible health insurance for $75 a month, it's a scam.

With health insurance, you really do get exactly what you pay for.

  6. A company called Golden Rule.

  7. 1. Golden Rule

    2. Blue Cross Blue Shield

    3. Aetna

    4. Humana

    5. Optimum

    6. Freedom

    7. Ameri-Life & Health Services

  8. its hard to give an accurate quote because of all the different policies and they usually run your social security number to give you the correct price BUT i found these 2 sites where you can compare insurance at http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com and http://www.COMPAREeQUOTES.com that give out the best comparisons for auto insurance, i hope that helps.
