Question:

What's the cheapest and quickest way to get from Manchester, NH to Providence, RI?

My boyfriend comes down from college to visit me (no car) and all last year he took NH Buslines to Boston (with a bus transfer along the way down), then Bonanza Buslines to Providence, but this way taking way over 4 hours each way (every weekend!) and costing him $34 dollars (roundtrip).

I'm familiar with the Boston to Providence end, it's really the Manchester to Boston that I'm not familiar with. I think I'm going to have him take the train from South Station to Prov.

There has GOT to be a cheaper or at least a FASTER way to get down here. I know the $34 round trip isn't bad at all, but every weekend adds up. Is there some kind of Unlimited Use membership we could buy?

He always runs into traffic with the buslines, and that's what takes forever.

If anyone is familiar with this route, I would LOVE your help. Thanks so much in advance.
