  1. You can get cheap accomodation in every city, you just need to look for it. Try backpackers and hostels. Apartments are always good coz you can cook for yourself and save money that way.

  2. Definately Adelaide and Hobart but certainly not Sydney.

  3. Maybe Adelaide or Hobart but Hobart is toocold for me, so Adelaide i'd opt for.

Adelaide is a lovely city around just over 1 million people, on the coast and decent shops, the city is layed out like a grid so it is sooo easy to get around.  Don't live in Port Adelaide or near salsbury, or elizabeth they are the bronxy end of Adelaide..sorry peeps that live there but......

  4. just get you a tent mate, pop it up in the out back. stay where you like.

  5. If you're talking about the five major capital cities in Australia, it would be Adelaide in South Australia. Adelaide is notably cheaper to live in than the other cities. The housing prices on average, are half of Sydney's prices and around two-thirds of Melbourne's.

Hobart in Tasmania, which is the island state is also cheap but the state of Tasmania to people from the mainland is sometimes forgotten and considered a place which doesn't get much attention. For example, on some weather forecasts, Tasmania is always ignored so does the Northern Territory due to the population sizes. Those are quiet places.

In weather, Adelaide can get very hot and dry since it lies on one of Australia's most arid regions. It can get up to 40 in summer. Hobart, on the other hand is the opposite. Since it's far south, the average temperatures are very low with the mercury hardly reaching over 20.

If you ask me, the weather also determines the price. Hope this has helped.

  6. Hobart

  7. Either Adelaide or Hobart
