What's the cheapest courier service from Philippines to Canada?

I've been using FEDEX to send packages to Canada. Most of the time i end up spending more on the courier service fee than what i've spent on the package itself. I'm wondering if there's a cheaper way or another alternative method that would be less costly. Help.

I have tried sending packages to the US using FedEx and you're right.  The courier fee was more expensive than tha package.  I tried DHL too and it's not as expensive but it it is still costly.  The good thing in using both is the swiftness with which the packages were delivered.

I switched to 2Go and it's cheaper than FedEx and DHL but just as reliable.

why don't use the post office they are usually cheaper than fed ex.  I am always send packages to my husband every time he is in US we just the post office and it takes only 2 weeks to arrive.  We don't have a problem with outgoing packages but incoming, until now its been 2 years our package did not arrive.
