What's the cheapest removals company to move from the UK to France?

it's from birmingham (england) to the south east of france

i've looked into renting a transit or two and doing it myself but when you add the channel crossing, petrol, tolls etc to the equation it gets very very expensive

Hire a couple of big transits for a couple of days and do it yourself that would probably be the cheapest way unless you have a serious amount of stuff to move, in which case if you have a friend or family member that has a license to drive a lorry then hire a lorry.

Okay, what about having a massive house sale out the front of your house and sell everything except the clothes you want to keep, and your personal possessions, then go to france with just luggage (clothes and personals) and buy new or second hand for your house in france when you get there.
