I'm travelling from Venice-Rome-Florence, I should get a Eurail National Pass or buy the ticket straight at the rail station when I reach each place? Which is cheaper? Will I face the problem of not getting the ticket if I buy it at each station, will it sold out? Thanks for helping.

  1. If you are only doing Venice - Florence - Rome, it would probably be cheaper to just buy the individual tickets, rather than the pass.  You can buy them at www.trenitalia.com or you can just buy them at the station.  According to trenitalia.com, each leg of the trip is about €30.  Don't use raileurope.com unless you like paying double for your tickets :-)

    Enjoy your trip!
