What's the cheapest way to get a letter from Ireland to England in 1 day, pref. before noon or 1pm?

I am from england, so always just use royal mail!

But Ireland HAVE to be different :(

Have a small letter (<100grams in weight) that's being sent out tomorrow from Ireland.

I need the form by Tuesday, so am looking for the cheapest courier service, or method via "anpost" that can get this to me by Tuesday, before 1pm

I'd rather not spend over £10/12 euros on the postage charges! Is there any courier, or company that could offer me that quick postage in such short time and for the relatively low price?

All the normal companies (DHL, etc.) seem to price their international express deliveries around heavy, large items! Is there no company that specializes in small letters or something silly like that, that can offer lower prices?

Is there a site that compares all courier prices so i can find the best one?

Is this something that could be sent via facsimile? Would be fast and much less expensive. Alternately, can you scan and email it? That costs nothing

Looks like its a bit late to answer, but I shall anyway:

Most of the large courier firms are only really interested in large items, or bulk postings (i.e lots of identical magazines, etc).

For your item, the best bet is to go to your local Post Office and have it sent airmail or for a few more euros, the Irish equivalent of Next Day Special Delivery. The staff should help you. Depending on where you send it from, it could arrive in the UK later that evening, and be in the town or district for where it should be delivered by the next morning. This can&#039;t be guaranteed, as it depends on numerous things such as when and where its sent from, time of arrival into the UK, mechanical failures in the system, flight delays (it is carried in the hold of commercial jets), etc.

If you were to send the item first thing in the morning from a large central Post Office in a city or main town in Ireland, it is not unreasonable to find that the item is delivered the following morning, or if not the day after.
