  1. see if you can find a dental school/college that might be willing to take you on as a patient.  this is a dental clinic for students studying to be dentists.  they will generally be able to offer this service at a reduced cost.  if you live in a rural area, you may have some trouble finding a dental school .

  2. Braces are way too expensive, you're going to have to wait till you get older. That's really messed up of your mother.

  3. I would encourage you to visit this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and they have saved me thousands on all services. My braces only cost me $2000 because of the great plan. From root canals, cleanings, xrays..etc. All services are included in this very affordable plan. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use it the very same day.

  4. Have you tried going to a dental school?  If the school has an orthodontic program, you can get get braces for a discounted price (compared to the outside market).  The doctors working on you are in training, but they are supervised by certified orthodontists.  The work you get will be very ideal and by the book.  Your results should be very good.

  5. The cheapest way is to get them done in Canada or Mexico. It may not be feasible since you are only 15, but say if your family goes to Vacation in either country you could get it done.

They can be as cheap as $200.00. Don't freak out they do a wonderful job. Many Americans are realizing this and are getting more and more medical procedures done in Canada and Mexico too. This is the cheapest way, but you can also try going to a dental student. They do work on people for the experience and give  major discounts.
