What's the cheapest way to go for tv? Basic Cable, Dish, Direct TV, etc.?

  1. get verizon triple play. (i think that's what it is called)

    they basically offer fios internet, phone, and fios t.v. all for about 100.00


  2. Basic cable should be dirt-cheap, but you get what you pay for.

    Satellite is cool because you get the program guides and you can see whats coming on each channel up to a week in advance.

    Dishnetwork's system is more user friendly than Direct TV. I just switched from Dish because Direct has a better HD package. I am constantly  annoyed by how the menus work.

    Once you sign a contract with satellite, the prices stay the same for that amount of time. I've heard that cable increases regularly.

  3. All the same price. But usually digital boxes give you more channels.  Look at the TV packages of your local city and compare.  If you like movies, the digital box has many movies.
