The next morning we took off and the pilot circled the airport until he had reached the altitude to get to Calcutta. As we taxied in the pilot was still trying out a dodgy engine. I asked my husband if he knew the name of a good hotel in Calcutta. We took off again for Rangoon. 4 days later we flew to Bangkok.

'It's the same bloody plane,' I said. My husband asked, 'How do you know?' 'The same overhead locker won't close.'

Three weeks later the airline lost a plane. It was then I found out that the airline only had three planes. What's the betting...?

managed to twist my head nearly fully around so i was looking behind me at some point in the hit. Broke my Femour (top thick legbone) ribs and a few fingers.Any skin that wasnt covered in leather was ground off aswell. was apparantelly lying in middle of road on a very dark road motionless and the fact that no cars hit me before the ambulance got there was very lucky.

  15. I had a medical reaction to a pill I'd taken with no problem just the month before. I knew something was wrong when my skin began to crawl on my head, got really dizzy, and could see nothing but a bright, white light. Somehow, and I STILL don't know how I did it, I managed to get across the room to a telephone and call my mother at work and then call a neighbor. She was so upset that she didn't know what to do, so I said "Call 911. I can barely breathe."  By the time the ambulance got here, my pulse had gone down and so had my heart rate. I got one shot of adrenalin on the way to the hospital, and ended up getting a second one after that at the hospital. I still couldn't see anything but white light, and I started crying, saying, "I don't want to die."

To make a long story short, my arms started to itch, and they gave me a shot of Benadryl--wrong choice. I found out I was allergic to that, too, when my arm started to swell up and had white bumps all over it. So, I was given something to counteract the Benadryl.  =(  I spent most of the day at the hospital, but now--when I list out my allergies--TOLECTIN is mentioned first.

  25. I was on a camping holiday in Africa.  Stopped at Victoria Falls in Zambia and everyone went off to do white water rafting and bungee jumping.

I was too chicken to do that, so decided on a "relaxing" Zambezi river canoe safari.  Half way across the river a hippo attacked my guide's canoe, about 6 feet in front of me.
