  1. I had to have reconstructive surgery after a game when I was 16.

I was stealing home and the batter was supposed to either take the pitch or just bunt the ball, but he swung and the bat hit my left cheek, knocking me out cold.

  2. back in the day i used to ply catcher (now i play outfield) and this really small and skinny kid came up to bat and he was sittin far back in the box and i thought i should move back so i did for the first pitch and he didnt swing so i didnt eeven think about it the next pitch so when he swung he hit me in the mask and it broke the make ripped it right off my face and knocked me out. i tried playin catcher again but i would flinch to much so i would drop the ball so now i play out field.

  3. I was a little kid at the time and my dad took me to an oakland athletics game vs some team that had the 'gaylord perry' pitching for it,lol. We went to get some refreshments and while waiting in line i noticed this family of midgets walking rather feverishly through the crowd and thats when i watched the father slip and fall and pick himself up before anyone else noticed. I was impressed with that more than i was with the game itself.

  4. cant top the gf story

so i wont waste my time

and u should wear a cup if u werent

  5. Honestly, nothing REALLY crazy has ever happened to me at a game, although the beer guy that was walking along the isles got hit with a Russel Branyan foul ball, and almost all the beer spilled all over the ground.

Haha...The guy looked like he got hit by a freakin train.

  6. In high school I was up with the bases loaded.  I hit a blooper over SS and rounded first when I saw the runner get thrown out at home.  I thought it was the runner trying to score from second and the runner on first went to third.  So on the first pitch I stole second and was surprised to see one of my teammates already there.  The guy who got out at home was the runner on third so I tried to steal second base with the bases loaded.

  7. I was leaving a Texas Rangers game on Road to Six Flags West. This was Arlington Stadium, before the new Ballpark. It has 4 lanes, 2 going in each direction normally, 3 going towards the ballpark before a game, 3 going away from the park before a game.

I was in the left lane leaving the game and it was fairly open. The other two lanes going away from the park were bumper to bumper. The cars in the other lanes left a gap for a car to head back towards the stadium, which one did and hit me with her BMW.

During the aftermath, he husband showed up...who turned out to be Jose Guzman, a pitcher for the Rangers at the time.

  8. This is the greatest thing that ever happened to me.  On July 18, 1999, my dad got us tickets to see the Yankees play the Montreal Expos on Yogi Berra Day at Yankee Stadium.  After the pre-game ceremony for Yogi's return to the Stadium, Don Larsen threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Yogi Berra.  This was David Cone's perfect game as the Yankees won 6-0.

  9. I was picked at random to throw out a first pitch. I just walked through the gates and they asked me if I was interested in doing so. I was in my military uniform, so I guess that was why. This was at a White Sox game in 1994.

To this day, they let active duty military in free. The White Sox organization is first class.

  10. I got to see Jim Edmonds make an awesome catch in Cincy in 04, the one where he robbed Jason LaRue by climbing the wall in CF when he was with the Cards. At that same game, a guy caught a foul ball barehanded and didn't even spill a drop of beer. That was pretty sweet too.

I also called 2 home runs at a game at new Busch in 06. I called a Yadier Molina and Jim Edmonds. I was in standing room only (Royals that weekend), and I was talking to a group of guys. I told one guy after I called the first homer that it was beginner's luck. By the time I called number two, I had a bigger group around me. A friend of mine called me "The Governor" because of that.

  11. Ok i have many stories for that lol. I was pitching had a hard hit towards and hit my in my man-hood lol i got the ball still and made the out. I had a pitcher hit me on purpose because i struk him out so we got in a fight. I got hit in the ankle by a 60+MPH fastball. And my favorite lol i brought my gf to the game once and her ex was on the other team, we raped the s**z outta them and we got in a fight afterwards cause he was talkin s**z and callin he a s**t. SO i shut his *** up. Those are my good stories so far =/

  12. OK. I was at a baseball game with my team and the bullpen was right where we were standing. (it was a Pawsox game by the way). So we started asking this guy for a ball. He wouldnt give us one so we kept on annoying him. Then my friend dropped his hat in the bullpen and th guy wouldnt give it back. It was after about 5 minutes when I reached over and took the guys hat. I wouldnt give it back unless he gave my friends hat back. We ended up trading back after the coach caught us. We got kicked out of the game.
