What's the deal with Judge Judy show? Whites only litigants?

Judge Judy has a lawsuit for racism not featuring blacks on her show. I have been tuning in to her show for the past couple of weeks and there hasn't been any people of color especially blacks on her show. I stopped watching her show. Talk about it.

I can honestly say I watch JJ everyday....don't laugh.  She is the best out of all the TV judges and you can actually understand what is going on.  there are black people on there almost half the time.  The rest is just white trash.  Lately she has had on some mexicans and a puertorican that had to have subtitles b/c you couldn't understand her.

As for the lawsuit, you can't blame Judy.  She doesn't search for the cases....she just judges them.  I think if she had a say in it, she would have all races on.

Also, TMZ is retarded.....don't listen to them

The question was 'what is the deal with the Judge Judy SHOW?' kickyoub, not 'what is the deal with Judge Judy' so what was the deal with that rude 'don't get your panties in a bunch' comment! Read carefully people, especially if all you can muster up is a dumb comment like that.

The lawsuit really has nothing to do with race or skin color. It's being filed against Randy Douthit, the producer of Judge Judy, by a former employee who was fired. His lawsuit is about wrongful termination. He alleges that the wrongful reason is just because he objected to producer Randy Douhthit when Douhthit said he wanted no blacks on Judge Judy, but just to send them over to Judge Joe Brown who also works with the same production company as Judge Judy. So basically, his claim is about getting fired just for disagreeing with a hateful decision. Douhthit says he never made such a decision tho, but that he's just doing all this because he's been fired.

I am black by the way. My opinion about this case is, if he can prove he was fired just for objecting to that decision, he should win his case. As to the whole racial part,  I see black people on Judge Judy from time to time. The majority are of course white however. Is this really bad for black people tho? Joe Brown is the nicer judge between the two. If you ask me white people are getting the worse end of this stick!

That is interesting. She herself wasn't named in the suit, so I hate to see her dragged through the mud for this.

There are other judge shows that primarily show black plaintiffs and defendents, such as Judge Joe Brown. I get frustrated trying to watch their litigations. It's hard to find the truth through all the yelling, talking out-of-turn, lying, irrevalant statements...

I do not watch Judge Joe Brown anymore.All he has on his show is black people. He should have a lawsuit for reversed discrimination,or is that allowed in this country?

I think any TV shows, business etc. etc. should discriminate.

I agree it's 2008.  We shouldn't discriminate.  People who support or do this type of thing is sick.  If it's judge Judy or her producer, it's still her show.   She should know what's going on.  If she see white only litigants, she should ask questions.  Why isn't other minorities on her show?  I guess if your not a minority especially black stuff like this doesn't happen or matter to you.
