  1. He was supposed to, but didn't come close.  He'll make his decision before training camp though, he said several times at the trade deadline that to be on a team you have to be there from training camp on.

  2. TBL, we both should know enough to not take what he says as a truth! I am asking a question here in a few that might explain why he and Chelly, Shanahan and Selanne are waiting to sign! If YA lets me. It says its taking a breather when I try and ask it.

  3. It started out as "probably in July, definitely before August..." then became the first of August, not necessarily August 1'st. Now it's sometime in August. My question is, if you don't know what your decision is, how can you determine when you'll make the (in)decision.

  4. He's going to announce that he's retired. The Leafs will appoint a new Captain, re-adjust their lines, sign new vetran leadership, and move on. Then, right before training camp starts, he's going to change his mind, say that the Leafs abandoned him when he announced his retirement, and demand a trade. The Leafs will then trade him to the Jets. It's going to be the ONLY THING THAT'S ON THE NEWS FOR MONTHS!

  5. Yeah, he was supposed to. August 1st was the "soft deadline" for him...but we all know Sundin, he can never make up his mind.

But according to his agent, J.P. Barry, he said that Sundin is still indecisive if he wants to play or not...go figure.

I have a feeling if he does not decided anytime soon, he'll pull a Niedermayer. I hope he does not do that. I hope he returns to the Leafs and we can all get on with our lives.

...and I thought the Brett Favre saga/drama was bad..this is getting equally as bad or worse.

  6. He was misquoted. he said he would make his decision in august and people assumed he meant august 1st. He will make his decision sometime before training camp.
