What's the deal with October Road?

Does anyone know the fate of the ABC drama October Road? I've heard rumors of cancellation, I've also heard it'll be back. Can someone please set the record straight please.

it got cancelled unfortunately. they say because not many people watched it. well the reason to that was because they had the show on at a bad time and day and also during other good shows. also it was on at a bad time of the year too. close to summer time. also they did not have many episodes so the viewers did not get attached to the show. i personally liked the show and wished they would have kept it but they did not so i will just have to watch something else.
