  1. Oh you just ooze compassion, I dont really think he gives a flying F*U*CK what you think.

  2. Na, where have you been the past three decades?? Of course he is both.  Should we feel sorry for him? Why? I saw him raving mad in London one evening?  Aggressive and really dangerous. No I don't feel sorry for him!!

  3. I suspect he has become mentally disturbed as a result of alcoholism. He will be lucky to be with us in 12 months time.

  4. sorry to say hes lost the plot

  5. If you feel 'really sorry for the guy', why are you referring to him as a nut - that isn't a nice word to use!

    Besides, isn't it his business?

  6. He has always been an attention seeking narcissist. Crying because they lost a match. I'm sorry....it's flippin football, no one died. Kids are starving and this idiot cried cos they missed a goal.

I have no sympathy for him at all. He hit his wife and that is enough for me.

He's a nutcase, because of his personality, the drink only made him worse.

I can't stand people who feel sorry for themselves when there is worst going on in the world.

  7. I think that it is tragic that a player who had / has  so much talent has got to this stage I believe that he is a victim of the huge amounts of money paid to these guys and not enough advice as to there future , his decline also coincides with his marrige break up , not condoning nor condeming , but the guy is in a lot of pain mentaly and needs help

  8. I think a lot of these footballers have had bad upbringings. They're not emotionally mature or intelligent enough to deal with the fame and fortune that being a top footballer brings. Look at Joey Barton.

I think Gazza's fame and talent meant that he never had to grow up and take responsibility for his life. You can imagine someone like him but without the football skills would either get his act together, or end up in jail.

  9. The poor guy has obviously got serious issues with alcohol, this has left him with real mental problems and in a vulnerable state.  He may always have been a little 'different' or highly strung, the alcohol making it worse of course.

I do wish he could sort himself out. There is only so much help to be had from other people, the rest has to come from himself!

  10. Gazza probably has long standing mental health issues that are made worse by his alcohol abuse but he drinks to avoiod dealing with his problems. It's a vicious circle

  11. He's a hopeless alcoholic and that has turned him into a bit of a nutcase.

  12. Sad, its such a long way to fall when you are "right up there"

  13. Just another thick footballer.
