What's the deal with Ruby Tuesdays?

Why did they blow up the building next door? Does anyone actually know why, cause I've read a lot of guesses as to why they did it but I haven't seen anyone who actually knows. Putting explosives in the building next door really being a mistake just doesn't make sense to me, so what's up with it?

It's a goofy little marketing ploy, a little obvious. If you read their "apology" on their website, they say that the demolition experts mistook a similar restaurant for theirs, but they won't in the future (presumably because their renovation strategy has, in their hope, distanced them from similar restaurants.)
