What's the deal with Whoppers candy?

Why are so many of the Whoppers malt balls hollow on the inside? You'd think Hershey's would have perfected that in all the years they've been making this candy!

i love the malteesers waaaaay better..you should switch to them!!!   although, i fyou are in the usa, i don't know if they sell them there  ....i live in canada and they originate in the uk!!!    they are milk chocolate covered malt balls and aer perfect and delicious!!! you have got to try them!! the whoppers are too waxie!!

they made it hollow on the inside to save more of the product. and they get a much bigger profit margin from it because it's less candy but u c ant tell from teh outside. yet, people keep buyin them so idk really

Hi: try some Mighty malts, malted milk balls from Necco..U can find then at any dollar store..pretty good but not like Whoppers use to be..have fun will travel..

sounds like they need to clean their equipment and or change management where those whoppers are coming from.

things in all outlets in the food industry have gone poorly in the last few years... i see the whopper franchise isn't immune to this pheonomen either.
