  1. People have been trying to interpret and second-guess God for a long while now.  It's the ultimate excuse for letting everything go to pieces, if that's what you're so inclined to do.

My theory is that God is livid that we've desecrated the one and only planet we were provided.

The big deal is that people have created new technology after new technology without having the wisdom and wherewithal to deal with the consequences.

  2. The big deal is that so many people are fooled into thinking that this scam is real and have become willingly exploited by those who wish to gain $ and/or power.

  3. THE WAY YOU TALK IS THAT YOU BELIEVE YOUR GOD COMES FROM ANOTHER GALAXY, BECAUSE HERE IN AMERICA AND MANY OTHER COUNTRIES WE BELIEVE THAT GOD IS WITHIN EACH PERSON AND WHEN ANY OF US BELIEVE IN GOD THAT MEANS WE BELIEVE IN OURSELVES. ALSO GLOBAL WARMING WAS CAUSED BY ANOTHER SPECIE THAT WANTS OUR PLANET AND HAS BROUGHT PEOPLE ABOARD THEIR CRAFTS FOR EXAMINATION AND FOUND THAT HUMANS ARE TO SAVAGE TO BE NEIGHBORS, SO THEY'VE CAUSED GLOBAL WARMING TO DELETE ALL LIFE ON EARTH AND IN THE  OCEANS, UNTIL THEIR COUNTERPARTS IN 2028 GET HERE FOR COLONIZATION.

  4. I guess the big deal is, people like to burn lots of fossil fuel to keep from freezing to death most of the year.

they must feel sorry for people that live nearer the equator & get to wear shorts & T shirts 12 months of the year & never have a big heating bill to pay.

people in warm climates also grow crops 365 days of the year.

while we in the north have only 90 to 120 days to plant & harvest our crops.

actually I guess you could say the earth is warming so it can continue to feed the ever growing population, if you wanted to make up a mythological story about global warming. with a happy ending.

  5. The big deal is coastal flooding, costing huge sums of money to deal with, and damage to agriculture, causing food shortages.

It's not true at all that people who accept global warming as fact don't believe in the Bible.  Different people interpret the words of the Bible in different ways.  Some people of faith say the Bible says the world is 6000 years old, while others think the scientific value of 4.5 billion years is perfectly consistent with the Bible.

Here's one important example of the last:

  6. Global warming is the new liberal religion, it will scare people into accepting higher taxes and give more control of their lives to the government. Also a lot of people are getting rich hawking this scam.

  7. Well, um I think that the Earth is like God's home, so why would he want his home to be destroyed? obviously, people like us are ruining the earth! SAVE THE PLANET! PLEASE RECYCLE!!!!!!!!

  8. People who are concerned about worldwide doom caused by global warming do not believe in the Bible or its prophecies.

  9. the big deal is that...your children...and their children will have to deal with the consequences left by you.! omg you have to be kidding me...y would u believe in god and the old testement anyway...have you seen him...has anyone...how do they know he's real....y do you believe in something that doesnt exist!!!! its a big deal becuase people all over the world are living the consequences of it! flooding, drought, disease!!! think about all of the other people!!! the world is bigger than the one you live in!!

  10. global warming is a religion , There religion don`t go with your religion, sorry

  11. It's simple.  We've been coming out of a mini ice-age for the past hundred years now and the planet is starting to return to a relatively warm temperature.  There is no doubt that our planet is gradually warming - whether or not this is increased by excessive CO2 emissions is beside the point.

The concern is that costs will rise and many coastal cities will be flooded.  The increase in temperature could cause a shift in storms that are more powerful and devastating.  It won't be the end of the world or even the end of humanity, it'll just be VERY expensive to to change.

Thinking that God wants it to happen so we shouldn't worry is only one step shy away from complete apathy.  It's best we be ready for any changes the Earth might decide to throw our way.
