What's the deal with shivers down your spine?

Why do we get shivers down our spines, i've heard you get them when there's like a ghost around you!How do we get them?

We'll medically speaking, i get them because of frequent cold chills. The exterior of my body is warm and its internal organs are cold. Thats imbalance within you so your body gets confused. When that happens to me my whole body starts to shake, my dad says that I'm going back in time when it happens, which is so not true but quite funny.

You get them because the nerves in your neck are triggered from your brain and it sends a chilling feeling... alot of times its caused when u get really cold
