Question:

What's the deal with the chicken shirt on Roseanne?

I just watched an episode of Roseanne called "Daughters and Other Strangers." Roseanne had on a tshirt with a chicken design on it. I've seen her wear this in other episodes, and even wearing an apron with the chicken on it. What really confused me was that at first Roseanne was wearing the shirt, then Jackie was wearing it, and at the end of the episode Dan was wearing it. Does this shirt have some significance?

  1. I watched this episode last night and I realized the same thing. I HOPE what the poster above me said is true because that would be so awesome. I'm going to keep a lookout for the chicken shirt from now on!

  2. The shirt was originally from Roseanne's personal wardrobe, but she never wore it while she was married to Tom Arnold because he hated it so much.  After their divorce she made sure to include it supposedly in every episode (it wasn't always being worn and sometimes you have to look hard for it from what I understand) mainly to spite him.

  3. One of the hardest things to watch on line movies or tv episodes is the quality offered by most of these sites. They are mostly cam recordings and a real pain to watch. This one has DVD quality and is highly satisfying.
