What's the deal with putting your wedding plans and personal details on a website, when the only people you want to be there will have to be contacted anyway so that they know what website to look at?

The only logical reason that people make wedding websites (or any event website) is to invite strangers.  So please don't blame the trolls, they are just trying to help the happy couple realise their wish of meeting hundreds of new friends on their special day.
