  1. I think type 1 is the type you are born with.

type 2 you get when you are older

    (usually caused my obesity)

  2.    Diabetes type 1 is where the langerhan cells in the pancreas are destroyed -  it is an autoimmune problem where your own body attacks the pancreatic cells. When this happens, the pancreas is unable to produce insulin to control sugar.    It is also called juvenile diabetes.   In type 2 diabetes, the person's pancreas produces insulin, but it may not be enough to control sugar or the body no longer responds to the insulin.   In type 1, insulin injections are required.  In type 2, people can take pills to control sugar.  Type 2 diabetics sometimes use insulin as well.   Type 2 typically occurs in older adults or obese people

  3. 1. Youth there's not enough sugar in your blood and you can seize from it so you pop a candy in your mouth and it should be good. Usually too low can be too high sometimes though.

    2. Older caused by obesity and bad eating habits, too much sugar needs insulin shots to regulate. Blood sugar's usually too high.

The insulin hormone isn't produced in the right amounts which leads too extremes.

  4. diabetes 1 is less seious so you have a less chance of death and blood clocks (spelled wrong)

number 2 is a lot more serious and if u liek soda, you must drink diet or death will come soon

and u must check ur blood sugar with te meter thing like more than 5 times a day to see if your healthy

  5. Diabetes I, also known as Insulin Dependent Diabetes is autoimmune which means your body itself doesn't make insulin ( a hormone that removes sugars from the body), usually this is diagnosed early on during childhood and Type I diabetics also tend to be thin.

Type II diabetes, also known as Non-insulin dependent diabetes (although can become Insulin Dependent as the disease progresses or gets out of control) your body itself  is not creating enough insulin, so you can take medications in a pill form to help your body create its own insulin.

So whether you have type I or II they are both forms of diabetes.

  6. Sometimes it depends on your age and of course other factors.  Type 2 diabetes is often, not always, related to someone being extremely overweight and over the age of 25.  Type 1 diabetes is where the pancreas completely stops working and is generally in children/young adults and are usually underweight when diagnosed.  Type 2 can sometimes be controlled by diet and if it is gotten under control can be controlled soley by diet.  Type 2 requires insulin injections or the pump for the rest of their lives.  Hope this helped.

  7. In diabetes type 1, the pancreas makes very little to no insulin.  The person is insulin dependent, meaning you must take injections of insulin up to 6 times a day.  This is often referred to as "juvenile" diabetes, because it is usually diagnosed as a teen ager, but can be diagnosed as early as birth and as late as around 30 or 35.   With type 2 diabetes, there are several different stages the body can go through, the first being where the pancreas is making a lot of insulin, but the body does not use it properly.  This can be treated with oral medications, insulin, or both.  Type 2 can "sometimes" be controlled by diet and exercise, but not always.  And since diabetes is a progressive disease, these people usually end up taking medications later in life.  After years of making lots of insulin, the pancreas gets sort of worn out and stops making enough or any insulin.  Now the person needs to take medications that will encourage the pancreas to make a little more insulin so the body has enough.  Some end up taking insulin, but they are still type 2. Both types of diabetes are many times genetic. In type 1, they have a theory that a virus attacks the pancreas at some point in time and the person will develop type 1.  This is one of several theories, they still are not sure what really happens.  In type 2, it can be genetic, or even caused by taking certain drugs for several years, and many other things.  However, eating too much sugar or eating the wrong foods does not cause diabetes...either type, nor does being overweight or having a bad life style.  It is all due to the pancreas and what is going on with it.  Serious injury to the pancreas can also cause diabetes.

  8. Type on is when your cells has a problem and type 2 is when your body has a insulin problem
