  1. A cottage has foundations and is usually built of stone.  A cabin does not have foundations and is usually built of wood.

  2. Beach Cottage is cute.

    Beach Cabin is rustic.

  3. Well, the both resorts offers almost the same outdoor activites including kayaking, boat and waverunner rentals, parasailing, fishing charters.. bla, bla, bla. But the "beach cottage" refers to a usually small frame one-family house or a small house for vacation use, with sufficient space between cottages to provide a sense of privacy. You even get cottage rentals reservations for family vacations, romantic couples getaways, etc, etc. The diference is that "beach cabin" features sleeping accommodations with a maximum of 12 people, it´s like a BIG house perfect for families with children because they book only one party/family at a time to ensure comfort and privacy.

I guess that all! Cya ^_^

  4. "Cottage" makes me think of this: http://www.stable-cottage-potterne.co.uk...

I just used "beach house," though. I've never said "beach cottage" or "beach cabin."
