What's the difference between Alpharetta High School and Milton high school? Is one of them better? thanks!!!

  1. Milton is one year old, Alpharetta is 4 y/o, so both are well equipped. I think they are about the same, but I am aware that Gov. Purdue landed in a helicopter to give Alpharetta HS an award for most improved SAT scores and their scores weren't low to begin with. I live in Alpharetta, but I'm aware of what goes on at Milton.

    I really do think they are so similar in what they offer that either will serve a family equally. If you do a search on Fulton county schools, you'll be able to read a short bio of each school and you can find what their SAT scores are, etc. To save time, I did just that two years ago and there really wasn't much difference.

    You've chosen two very good high schools to compare, so you can't go wrong. If you want a 3rd choice, throw Chattahoochee (sp) in too and you'd have a 3-way tie.
