  1. The answer depends on who you ask and where they're from. In some places, cider is fresh unfiltered apple pressings while juice is filtered and sometimes further processed. In other places, cider always refers to a fermented (hard) beverage, while in others there is absolutely no difference-- any liquid pressings from apples can be equally referred to as either juice or cider.

    Apple Juice is just apple juice.

It is more sour and cloudy than conventional apple juice, retaining the tart flavor of the apple pulp which is lost in conventional fruit juice production.

  6. there is a world of difference. cider is really thick and sometimes overly sweet. it also contains no preservatives. whereas apple juice tends to be watered down and a lot less sugar. cider is usually served hot with cinnamon and apple juice is served cold.
