  1. HD READY refers to any tv that is capable of displaying a high-definition signal at either 720p,1080i, or 1080p using a componet video cord or a digital input and does not have a built in HD-capable tuner. FULL HD is also refered to as full high definition 1080p, ultra-hd , or true HDTV. it is considered to surpass the video quality of the original HDTV's.(HD READY)

I would suggest that you buy a FULL HDTV. You can hook that up with a HDMI cable and then experience the greatest graphics in gaming with the PS3.

  2. I'm not 100% sure about the difference maybe there isn't one have you asked instore? If you want to get a PS3 to hook it up to I would go for HDMI which allows you to get better graphics than HD PS3 is capabule of this and so are the newer Xbox 360's and Xbox 360 Elites allowing you to get to 1080p rather than 1080i. Most tv's that have HD will probably have HDMI but I would check befor you buy your tv.

  3. FULL HD is a 1920 x 1080 DISPLAY.....

HD ready covers 720P and 1080i displays (Crt Projection only)

PS3 works on all TV sets, but the FULL HD (or 1080P ) TV sets display all the power of your PS3 (which is 1080P signal)

I suggest the 1080P Tv set in your situation, as anything else will leave you wanting....
