  1. What is LEED®?

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

The National Association of Home Builders is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority.

They have different goals.  The NAHB wants building built period.  The LEED standards aencorage green development.

The NAHB is NOT known for being green in its practices and policy positions.
