  1. love is an emotion. you feel love. you feel anger. anything you feel in yur heart is an emotion.

  2. hmmm, love is strong..its where you feel like you cant do without that person and you will do things for that person that you wouldnt do for others.

emotions is when you feel something but its not love..for example...I guy may like you and think your cool, but have no interest in taking it any further...that's emotions in my book.

  3. Love has the ability to bring about all of the emotions -- happiness, sadness, depression, joy, etc.  The reason you don't know the difference is because, apparently, you've never been in love. Love can make you do things you never thought you'd do...and when it's shared with two people, unconditionally, it's like nothing you've ever felt before.  Sometimes you can think you are in love, but when you really are, you'll really know it.

  4. Emotion is a feeling, a reaction to a thought, words or an event.  You see a building blow up and you react with fear.

Love can involve emotion but it is more than that.  Love is a self-forgetting decision to commit yourself to another person.
