I think that Australians are tougher than regular people, so I'm trying to convince my friends to play by Australian rules.

  1. "Aussie Rules" is a totally different sport than rugby.

See the website below for more details of international leagues.  If you live in a country where there's a competition, perhaps you can play.

  2. Aussie rules:

Oval field about 180 meter long

    18 players a side

you must bounce the ball while running

to pass it you must hold it in one hand and hit it with your other fist

to score you kick the ball between two pair of poles

    RUGBY:

    rectangular field, 100 yards long

pass the ball backwards (no need to bounce)

    15 players

to score a try you lie the ball behind the ingoal line

    and hundreds of other differences....

  3. Rugby is a much tougher contact sport.  Play it and find out.  Australian futbol is a game of sissies running much too great a distance without getting their *** kicked.  Keep that silly game "down-under" where it belongs...
