We all need to understand that when celebrities speak, we need not pay attention.

Sharon Stone is an actress who has no experience or deep knowledge about religion or politics in China.

She was only attempting to make a point that the Tibetans were willing to help the Chinese people in their time of need even though the Chinese government is oppressing the Tibetans.

To me, that is a positive message.  However, when she attempted to infuse karma into the natural disaster, she showed her ignorance about karma and religion in general.

But, she is just an actress.  She shouldn't be considered a spokesperson for anything or anybody.  Her words should have no power in this instance.
